Stepping off the merry-go-round...
Pastor Doug Kelly gave an interesting sermon today. It's the first of a series on the inappropriate hectic life we lead.
Here was his conclusions to avoid a life 'overbooked, over scheduled and overwhelmed.
>Set aside a day or 'Sabbath' each week. It doesn't have to be Sunday or Saturday but just a day of rest.
>Develop a rhythm to your week.
>Don't fear taking a retreat once in a while.
>Rule your calendar. Don't overload your schedule.
I'd add a few other thoughts. Satisfaction in life does not always require some activity, work or accomplishment. Reflection, self-improvement, reading and the like all can be rewarding. We don't have to be in control of our corner of the world every minute of the day.

Think about it....

Don,
These are thoughts we all could use. Thanks for posting them!
